Brett Howell

Brett Howell has extensive experience in power trading and analytics, currently serving as Vice President of Power Trading at Calpine since June 2009, where responsibilities include managing the ISONE portfolio and trading in the PJM markets. Brett has a proven track record in hedging, managing, and taking speculative positions related to a combined cycle gas/oil generation fleet, as well as forecasting company margins for power plant operations. Previous roles include directing portfolio analysis and managing dispatch analytics, as well as experience in a credit-focused position at BMC Capital. Brett holds an MBA in Finance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Baylor University.
