Caleb Stephenson

EVP, Commercial Operations at Calpine

Caleb Stephenson is currently the EVP of Commercial Operations at Calpine. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Fullsteam Brewery from June 2017 to June 2021. In this role, they provided oversight and accountability for all departmental leaders as the “Integrator” for the company, including Production, Sales, Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Finance/Admin. Caleb also served as the Chief Financial Officer, owning all operating budget, production and sales forecasting, debt portfolio management, tax planning and filing, and capital raise/spend/budget responsibilities.

During their time at Fullsteam Brewery, Caleb also spearheaded the expansion to their second location in Research Triangle Park, leading negotiations with landlord, lenders, and other stakeholders. Caleb also led all company special projects, including on-site renovations and capital equipment upgrades, the company-wide response to COVID, ongoing safety and compliance protocols, and access to associated financial relief programs (PPP, EIDL, Rapid Recovery Loan, etc.).

Prior to their time at Fullsteam Brewery, Caleb served as a Special Advisor to the CEO at Fullsteam Brewery from March 2016 to August 2016. Caleb also served as an Associate at J.P. Morgan from June 2008 to June 2015 and as a Summer Analyst at Bear Stearns from June 2007 to August 2007.

Caleb Stephenson has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Commerce - Finance and Management, Economics from the University of Virginia. Caleb also has certification from the Cicerone Certification Program as a Cicerone Program Certified Beer Server (Level I).
