Chris German has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Regional Vice President of Operations at Calpine since January 2000. Over the years, Chris has held multiple leadership positions within Calpine, including Vice President of Outage Services, Director of Plant Operations, General Plant Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Engineer, Startup Engineer, and Project Engineer. Prior to joining Calpine, Chris worked at GE as a Controls Engineer and Field Engineer - Mechanical from July 1992 to January 2000. Chris holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from California State University Maritime Academy, one in Mechanical Engineering and the other in Marine Engineering Technology, earned between 1989 and 1992.
