Chris Jones

Chris Jones has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the energy industry. Chris started their career in 1991 at CenterPoint Energy, where they served as the Manager of Transmission Market Operations for over 10 years. In 2001, they joined Calpine Corporation as a Senior Counsel, providing legal support to regional power plants. Chris then transitioned to GDF SUEZ in 2007, working as a Senior Attorney in both the Generation and Retail divisions. In 2010, Chris returned to Calpine as a Senior Counsel and later was promoted to various leadership positions, including Vice President and Regional Managing Counsel. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of East Regional Operations at Calpine. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in legal support, operations management, and market operations in the energy sector.
