David Neary

David Neary is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and financial management. Currently serving as Director of Internal Audit and Director of Financial Management at Calpine since May 2006, David is responsible for consolidating and presenting long-term major maintenance forecasts for Power Operations. Previously, David held various leadership roles, including Director of Finance & Budgeting Outage Services and Director of Internal Audit at Hospital Corporation of America from 2000 to 2006, and AVP Internal Audit at FPL from 1994 to 2000. David began a career in accounting as a Senior Accountant at Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs, following earlier positions at Lumsden & McCormick. Academically, David holds a Master's degree in Business from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
