Eric Canada

Eric Canada is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Project Development at Calpine since January 2013, Eric leads a team focused on developing various projects, including natural gas combined cycle and cogeneration power plants, carbon capture facilities, utility-scale energy storage systems, solar systems, diesel generators, and industrial boilers. Prior roles include Lead Project Engineer at Luminant Power, Senior Engineer at Progress Energy, Lead Engineer at Bibb & Associates, and Mechanical Engineer positions at Black & Veatch. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Kansas, earned between 1990 and 1995.
