Jan Stavinoha has over two decades of experience in environmental management, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Calpine since October 2001. In this role, Jan oversees environmental compliance for the Texas region of the independent power producer. Prior to Calpine, Jan was a Senior Environmental Engineer at Argent Consulting Services from April 1996 to October 2001 and worked as an Environmental Consultant at Source Environmental Sciences from June 1991 to April 1994. Jan holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Materials Science and Spanish from Rice University, completed in 1991.
