Jody Batten

Jody Batten is an experienced professional in the energy sector, having held key positions at leading companies. As General Plant Manager for Calpine from July 2018 to June 2020, Jody oversaw the Delta Project plants, including the Delta Energy Center and Los Medanos Energy Center in Pittsburg, CA. Prior experience includes serving as Maintenance Leader at Arizona Public Service from 2003 to 2010. In July 2023, Jody returned to Calpine, taking on multiple roles such as Senior Director of Asset Management, Senior Director of Maintenance, Vice President of Geothermal Operations, and Operations & Maintenance Manager, leading a team to maintain a 2 x 1 Combined Cycle Power Plant and later being promoted to Plant Manager for the Otay Mesa Energy Center in San Diego, CA.
