Michael Buchanan

Michael Buchanan is an experienced maintenance planner with over a decade of expertise at Calpine, overseeing daily maintenance planning for the Sutter Energy Center and Feather River Peaker plants, as well as providing support for seven additional LM6000 peaker plants. Prior to this role, Michael worked in sales and service for GE Inspection Technologies, focusing on Remote Visual Inspection equipment. Michael’s career began in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, where responsibilities included serving as a crew chief and quality assurance.
