Michael Crosson

Michael Crosson serves as the Director of Planning & Scheduling at Calpine since July 2012, leading maintenance planning efforts for a fleet of over 150 turbines and their generators, while establishing forecasting criteria and methods. In addition, Michael is the owner of M. Crosson Carving, specializing in the design and construction of original furniture and architectural ornaments, as well as the restoration and replication of antique wood items. Michael's prior experience includes various roles at Siemens Energy from 1998 to 2012, progressing from Project Manager to Operations Manager and receiving recognition from European leadership for exceptional customer service skills. Additionally, Michael worked as an Engineer at Hussey Seating Company from 1987 to 1998, where achievements included obtaining PE Licenses in multiple jurisdictions and significantly increasing production output and sales. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Kansas State University, obtained in 1987.
