Michael Wimett

Michael Wimett has extensive experience in control room operations, predominantly within the energy sector, working as a Control Room/Gas Turbine Operator at Calpine since May 2008. Prior to this role, Michael was a Control Room Operator at various facilities, including the Arlington Valley Energy Center with Dynegy and Wood Group from 2001 to 2008. Earlier in his career, Michael served as a Facilities Technician IV at Intel Corporation from 1995 to 2001 and spent 15 years as an MM1/SS in the United States Navy Submarine Service. Michael holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business/Project Management from the University of Phoenix, completed in 2014, and a High School Diploma from Copperas Cove High School.
