Rick Brown

Rick Brown has extensive experience in purchasing and management, having served as Business Manager at Calpine since 2000, where responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, purchasing and inventory management, project costing, and facilities management, along with expertise in Maximo, Peoplesoft, and Hyperion Planning. Prior to this role, Rick held positions as Purchasing Manager at MidAmerican Energy and Coso Geothermal, overseeing multi-location purchasing departments and inventory management. Rick's career began at North American Chemical, progressing from warehouse worker to Purchasing Manager over a span of 15 years. Education includes attendance at Cero Coso Community College from 1988 to 1990 and completion of high school at Redlands High School.
