Robert Atkins has extensive experience in power scheduling, currently serving as a Senior Power Scheduler at Calpine since March 2008. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Reliant Energy as the ERCOT Scheduling Manager and Portfolio Management from September 2006 to March 2008, where responsibilities included optimizing the ERCOT portfolio and managing the ERCOT scheduling group. Robert's experience in power scheduling also includes positions at Duke Energy Trading and Marketing, starting as a Power Scheduler in June 1998 and advancing to Senior Power Scheduler by May 1999, remaining with the company until July 2006. Robert attended San Jacinto College from 1978 to 1979.
