Robert DeWitt is an experienced plant manager with over two decades in the energy sector, primarily at Calpine since August 2001. DeWitt has held multiple roles, including maintenance manager and maintenance planner/scheduler, where responsibilities included improving workforce productivity and coordinating maintenance activities. Prior experience includes work as an I C & E Technician III, focusing on the operation and maintenance of distributed control systems (DCS) in combined cycle facilities, and as a DCS commissioning engineer. Prior to Calpine, DeWitt served at Siemens as an instrumentation and controls technician, overseeing the commissioning and start-up of power plants, and at Samson Controls as an instrumentation/valve technician. Education includes certificates in electronics and instrumentation from Lee College.
