Sharad Kumar

Sharad Kumar is a seasoned information systems professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Information Systems Analyst at Calpine since August 2023, Sharad previously held the position of Manager of Information System Security at Amentum from March 2013 to August 2023. Between August 2006 and March 2013, Sharad worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bastion Technologies, and from January 1998 to July 2006, held the role of Software Engineer at MDA. Additionally, Sharad's career began at Tata Steel as Assistant Manager of Projects from June 1990 to December 1995. Educationally, Sharad earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (2014-2017), a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida (1996-1997), and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (1986-1990).
