Steve Morris

Steve Morris is a seasoned turbine engineer currently employed at Calpine in Houston, Texas since August 2014, specializing in human performance and turbine engineering. Prior to this, Steve spent 14 years at Siemens Generation Services, where the role of craft labor supervisor began in 2006. Steve's career in the industry commenced with Millwright Local 1080, serving as a union millwright from January 1995 to August 2014. Educationally, Steve holds an associate's degree in applied science from Ivy Tech Community College, completed between 1996 and 1999, and a journeyman certificate in millwright from the Millwright Local 1080 Apprenticeship Program, which was also completed during the same timeframe.
