Tim Wigginton is an experienced controls engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the power industry. Currently, at Calpine since July 2001, Wigginton focuses on ensuring the proper operation of control logic in distributed control systems for combined cycle power plants, specifically utilizing the Siemens Westinghouse TXP control system and providing training for in-house personnel. Prior experience includes roles as a field service engineer at is-International, where Wigginton commissioned power plants for Siemens Westinghouse, and as a DCS engineer at Gray Control Automation, responsible for configuring DCS systems across various plants. Additional experience includes positions at Houston Lighting and Power as a control system designer and at Bailey Controls Company as a process control technician. Wigginton holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Education Center.
