William Church

William Church is an experienced Senior Operator at Calpine, a position held since January 2002 at the Edge Moore Power Plant. With a strong background in power production, William operates from the control room and manages the entire process of power generation and delivery to the grid. Previous roles include PEO-5 and Control Room Operator, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining and monitoring systems related to boiler and turbine operations. Before Calpine, William worked at Amtrak in B&B Maintenance and at Gaylord Container as a Machine Operator. Educational achievements include an HVAC degree from Delaware Technical Community College and ongoing studies at Wilmington University for a Third Class Engineers License in Command & Control Systems and Operations.
