James Steffan

James (Jim) Steffan has extensive experience in contracts management, currently serving as the Director of Contracts at Calspan since January 2021. Previously, James held the position of Contracts Administration Manager and Empowered Official at Safran from June 2016 to January 2021. Additional roles include Manager of Procurement and Program Manager at Fleet Canada Inc. (August 2012 - June 2016), Contracts Manager at Raytheon Canada Limited (2010 - 2012), Director of Contracts Administration at Allen-Vanguard (2005 - 2010), and Defense Sales/Contracts Manager at Enidine (2000 - 2005). James's career began in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included managing contingency contracts from 1989 to 1999. James holds a degree in Contracts Management and Logistics Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
