Rigel Hebmann

Rigel Hebmann is an accomplished experimental test pilot and instructor with extensive experience in aviation. Currently serving as an Experimental Test Pilot and USAF TPS Instructor at Calspan Corporation since April 2021, Rigel is responsible for flying modified Learjets and assessing airplane stability. Previous roles include piloting Gulfstream G550 jets for Penske Media Corporation and serving as Chief Fixed Wing Instructor Test Pilot at the National Test Pilot School, where Rigel provided in-flight instruction on various aircraft. Notably, Rigel was an Aviation Safety Officer for the French Ministry of Defense, focusing on military aviation safety regulations, and held multiple leadership positions at the French Flight Test Center. Rigel's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Flight Test Engineering and a diploma in Experimental Test Pilot from prestigious institutions.
