Alissa Burger is a seasoned policy professional with extensive experience in clean energy and climate initiatives. Currently serving as Regional Policy Director at CALSTART since March 2022, Burger previously held the role of Policy Manager at the Electrification Coalition and was involved in various significant projects at Carnegie Mellon University and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, where efforts focused on decarbonization and energy policy development. With earlier roles at the Center for Sustainable Energy and the Institute for Market Transformation, Burger has demonstrated a strong capacity for engaging with regulatory bodies and advancing energy efficiency policies. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology/American Studies from Knox College.
