Deidre Strohm

Deidre Strohm is CALSTART’s first Director of Development, who brings with her more than 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector building and managing fundraising programs for expanding nonprofits. With her experience in both public and private sector funding, Deidre will strategically build the necessary infrastructure to support the important work CALSTART undertakes in the clean transportation arena locally, nationally and globally that makes the planet a better place to live, work, and play.

Deidre is a storyteller by trade and holds a Master’s in Professional Writing from The University of Southern California, a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Women’s Studies from Wichita State University, and she will begin pursuing her Executive MBA this Fall. She sits on the Board of the USC Lambda Alumni Association, is a member of the Writer’s Guild West, and The Los Angeles Council of Charitable Gift Planners.
