April Wilcox

April Wilcox, CAIA has a diverse work experience in the investment and accounting fields. April started their career in 2000 as an Accountant at CalHFA and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined CalSTRS and held various roles including Investment Accounting, Investment Officer in Investment Operations, Investment Officer in Fixed Income, Director of Investment Operations, and currently serves as the Director of Investment Services since October 2020. April'sexpertise and knowledge in investment services and operations have contributed to their growth and success in the industry.

April Wilcox, CAIA holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University-Sacramento. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation from the CAIA Association in 2016 and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023. April has also completed certifications in negotiation, influence, personal productivity, IT for non-IT executives, and leadership in an exponentially changing world from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2023. Furthermore, they hold a CFA Institute Investment Foundations certification from the CFA Institute in 2019.
