Don Palmieri

Don Palmieri is an experienced portfolio manager currently overseeing a $20 billion portfolio of life science and office investments at CalSTRS, a role held since June 2008. Previously, Don served as an Investment Officer at CalSTRS, managing various portfolios including domestic and international hotel funds and several comingled funds. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Director of Asset Services at CB Richard Ellis, and as an Asset Manager at Archon Group, where Don managed diverse assets for Goldman Sachs Whitehalls Funds. Don's career began at Cushman & Wakefield as a Portfolio Manager/Broker. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from LMU, Los Angeles.
