Ivan Ly is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis, pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Applied Statistics. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Transportation Studies, Ivan analyzes large video datasets to validate computer vision algorithms for active transportation detection and collaborates with researchers on data cleaning and aggregation. Additionally, Ivan is an intern with CalSTRS in the Financial Reporting & Investment Accounting unit, supporting financial reporting processes for a significant public pension fund. Prior experience includes roles as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the YMCA of San Francisco, a Student Assistant in the Accounts Receivable Unit at CAL FIRE, a Museum Docent at the Exploratorium, and a Member Services Representative at UC Davis Campus Recreation and Unions.
