Jojo Thomas

Jojo Thomas has a strong background in technology and project management, with over 30 years of experience. Jojo is currently working as the Assistant Director of Technology at CalSTRS. Prior to this, Jojo served as the Chief Enterprise Architect at the California State Lottery and as a Technology Solutions Manager at the State of California. Jojo has also worked as a Senior Information Technology Specialist at Public Consulting Group and as a Senior Technical Project Manager at First Data Corporation. In addition, Jojo has experience as an Enterprise Transition Manager at Blackstone Technology Group and as a Senior Tech Expert at the Statewide Automated Welfare System. Jojo began their career as a Systems Engineer at ORG International, where they provided various services to Indian Customs clients. Jojo has a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing technology solutions.

Jojo Thomas's education history begins with their schooling at St Josephs of the Woods in Cochin from 1973 to 1984. They then attended St Alberts College in Cochin from 1984 to 1986, earning an Associate degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. From 1986 to 1989, Jojo studied at Union Christian College in Alwaye, Kerala, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. During this time, they also attended Mahatma Gandhi University for chemistry studies. In 1989, Jojo pursued a Masters Degree in Computer Applications at the University of Madras, which they completed in 1992. Later on, they obtained the ITIL certification in Information Technology Services Management from EXIN in 2009 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2010.
