Derek Bannon is a seasoned Data Solutions Architect with extensive experience in GIS and project coordination. Currently employed at Caltech Surveys since May 2021, Derek previously held roles such as Project Coordinator at GeoVerra and Project Technologist at Opus Stewart Weir. Over the years, Derek has developed expertise in creating and managing GIS maps, survey data management, and process automation using FME and Python. With a solid educational background in Integrated Land Planning Technologies and GIS & Urban Planning from Fanshawe College, Derek has built a career supporting field crews, managing databases, and ensuring quality control across various pipeline projects.
