Michael Rabinowitz

Michael Rabinowitz is an accomplished urban planner with extensive experience in transportation planning and project delivery. Currently serving as a Principal Planner at Caltrain since July 2023, Michael previously worked as a Transportation Planner at CDM Smith from October 2019 to June 2023, focusing on various transportation-related studies and surveys. Prior to that, as a Senior Facilities Planner at NJ Transit, Michael concentrated on enhancing customer access to transit services. Michael's earlier roles include Planning Associate at the Meatpacking District Improvement Association, a Master's degree student in Urban Planning at Hunter College, and a paralegal at the United States Attorney's Office. Michael began his career with an internship with the City of Alexandria and held a supervisory role at George Washington University's Campus Recreation. Michael holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The George Washington University.
