Ray Mueller

Ray Mueller is a San Mateo County Supervisor for District 3, serving since January 2023, and holds the position of Vice Chair for the San Mateo County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) in 2024. Mueller is involved with various boards, including the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, OneShoreline, Caltrain, San Mateo County Transit District, Health Plan of San Mateo, and Peninsula Clean Energy. Notably, Mueller has served as a member of the HOPE Interagency Council and has been active on multiple committees, including the Budget and Legislative & Policy Committees with LAFCo, along with chairing the Legislative Committee for the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. Prior experience includes a decade on the City Council of Menlo Park, including two terms as Mayor. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
