Meredith LaBeau has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Meredith began their career as a Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University, where they conducted research on modeling and analyzing water use in the Great Lakes Region. During their time there, they contributed to multiple publications in the field.

In 2013, LaBeau also took on the role of Race Director at CopperDog 150, an organization focused on organizing a prestigious sled dog race. Meredith'sresponsibilities included planning and executing the event with a large team of staff members.

In the same year, LaBeau joined Calumet Electronics Corporation (CEC) as a Process Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed a team of process engineers and was responsible for ensuring high-quality printed circuit board fabrication. Meredith later transitioned to become the Director of Process, R&D, & Manufacturing Engineering, overseeing the company's overall process improvement and research and development efforts. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification in Building a Successful Diverse Business (BSDB) from Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in June 2021.
