Calvert Kielder is a fully accessible outdoor adventure centre in Kielder Forest Park, offering 24-hour respite breaks for disabled adults, and residential and day experiences for everyone. Through accessible adventure, we create opportunities for people to relax, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors without barriers.

Set in the stunning surroundings of Kielder Forest and Water Park, we offer the chance to step away from everyday pressures and take part in activities ranging from calm and restorative to challenging and confidence-building — all delivered in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

What matters most to us is not just what people do here, but what they gain: improved wellbeing, confidence, independence, and moments of joy that stay with them long after they leave.

Charitable support plays a vital role in making this possible. The true cost of delivering fully accessible provision exceeds what many families can afford, and philanthropic investment helps ensure that those facing the greatest barriers can still access experiences that truly matter.
