Lawrence Teo is the Founder and Vice President of Development at Calyptix Security. As lead architect of AccessEnforcer, the company’s flagship security solution, Lawrence oversees product development, researches and designs new features, and monitors the world of security to ensure that Calyptix’s customers stay protected from the latest threats.
Lawrence began his studies in applied computer science at Monash University in the honors program before continuing his education at University of North Carolina, Charlotte. There he earned a doctorate in internet security, and through his dissertation, he devised the technology that would become AccessEnforcer. In 2022, he received the OSCE3 (Offensive Security Certified Expert 3) certification. This advanced security certification requires a high level of knowledge in penetration testing, exploit development and web application attacks.
Throughout his career, Lawrence has published numerous articles in both scientific and commercial settings, served on program committees and panels, and given talks at technology conferences. He is also a developer with the OpenBSD project, an operating system that is considered among the most secure in the world and is a foundational part of AccessEnforcer.
