Greg Talbot has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Greg started their career in 2000 with the Royal Australian Air Force as an Air Battle Manager. Greg served in various roles within the organization, including Senior Operations Officer and Executive Officer in the No 1 Remote Sensor Unit from 2011 to 2015. In 2009, they also worked with the 2d Space Warning Squadron, USAF, where they held positions such as Senior Flight Commander and Deputy Crew Commander.
From 2003 to 2006, Greg worked at the Surveillance and Control Training Unit, where they served as an Executive Officer, Senior Training Officer - Post Graduate, and Fighter Control Instructor. After that, they joined the AOC ISR Division in 2007 as an ISR Operations and Plans officer until 2008.
In 2016, Talbot joined the AOC Strategy Plans Division and worked in Training and Development until 2018. Greg briefly served with the Directorate of ISR, EW and Space as a Space Systems Integration specialist from January to October 2019. Currently, they are employed as a Space & EW Operations Planner at Calytrix Technologies, starting in October 2019.
Throughout their career, Greg has gained extensive experience in air operations planning, space systems integration, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations.
Greg Talbot completed their Master of Systems Engineering degree with a focus on Space Systems at the University of NSW - ADFA Campus from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Commerce with a major in Management Sciences at the University of Canberra, which they completed from 1994 to 1996.
