Bill Koschak

Bill Koschak is the current Chief Financial Officer at Calyxt. Prior to their current position, they served as Vice President, Finance & CFO - Brain Therapies at Medtronic from June 2017 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for bringing financial structure to the newly formed $2.5B business unit and driving prioritization and focus across three disparate businesses with a focus on free cash flow delivery to shareholders. Bill also led financial analysis for significant M&A, with transactions with aggregate value greater than $2B closed during this time.

From December 2015 to June 2017, Koschak served as Chief Financial Officer at YA | Engage, where they transformed the old-line fulfillment house into a digital organization and business model. Bill also developed a service organization accounting model.

Koschak began their career in August 1991 as a Partner at KPMG, where they worked for 14 years before joining General Mills as Vice President, Global Internal Audit in May 2005. Bill remained with General Mills for nearly 10 years before leaving in December 2014 to join 1st Financial Bank USA.

Bill Koschak has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Augsburg University and a certification from CPA.
