Ben Smith

Ben Smith serves as the Chief Financial Officer for CAM. Ben brings over 25 years of experience in both accounting and finance, spanning across the energy, engineering, construction, environmental services, water, and wastewater industries. He is a Certified Public Account (CPA) licensed in the state Texas and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Lamar University. His areas of expertise include strategy development, performance improvement, working capital management, financial planning, reporting, organizational design, system implementation, process improvement and acquisitions​.

In 2020, Ben served as CFO for Linestar Integrity Services where he directed a team of 30 with a specific focus on process and system optimization to support anticipated growth. Prior to Linestar, Ben held the CFO position at Synagro Technologies, Inc. in which he served as business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team to influence and drive execution of critical business transformation initiatives in support of the full potential plan.

Ben is a dedicated leader, who inspires teamwork and drives change to enhance profitability and support growth with his strong communication and negotiation skills.
