Shemar James

Shemar James currently serves as a Student Support Specialist at DePaul University and has held the role of Senior Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Dean of Students and Vice President of Student Affairs since June 2019. In addition, Shemar works as an English Second Language Tutor at Cambly Inc. and has a diverse background in creative roles, including Script Writer and Locations Manager for Gary McMillan Masterpiece Production, Comic Book Writer and Storyboard Artist for a comic book series, and Filmmaker and Screenwriter for a YouTube animation series titled "City Crooks: The Conspiracy." Previous experience includes positions as a Content Manager at allrites and Education Marketing Coordinator at Stage 32. Shemar has also contributed to social media management and event coordination at New Life Community Church and DePaul University, where involvement included presenting projects to the Board of Trustees and engaging with a large student audience. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, both from DePaul University.
