Ryan Brough

Ryan Brough is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in laboratory operations, currently serving as Senior Director of Laboratory Operations at Cambrex since May 2019. In this role, Ryan oversees three laboratory departments dedicated to supporting compendial testing for the GMP release of raw materials and finished products across the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech sectors. Previous positions include Manager of External Laboratory Operations at MedComp Sciences and Director of Laboratory Operations at Element 7/Pathnostics, where Ryan demonstrated expertise in project management, quality management, and customer relations while leading diverse teams and implementing strategic initiatives. Ryan’s career began at Quest Diagnostics and progressed through various roles in forensic toxicology and laboratory management, showcasing a commitment to operational efficiency and business growth. Educationally, Ryan holds a B.S. in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University.
