Joe Parry

Joe Parry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Joe is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Cambridge Intelligence since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of the same company from May 2011 to May 2023. In 2012, they also founded and organized the Cambridge JavaScript Meetup. Joe Parry served as the Chair of Governors at Parkside Community College Cambridge from September 2015 to September 2022. Before that, they worked at i2 Inc as the Head of Research from January 2010 to April 2011. At i2, Inc., they held several roles including Research Lead from January 2007 to December 2009, Lead Technical Architect from January 2004 to January 2007, and Senior Developer from August 1998 to December 2003. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Specialist at Metron Technology Ltd from September 1996 to July 1998.

Joe Parry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. Joe then pursued a Part III degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1990. Following this, Joe pursued their passion for cosmology and general relativity by obtaining a Ph.D. in those fields from the University of Cambridge from 1990 to 1994. To further enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Science, Joe pursued a Master of Science degree at Imperial College London from 1995 to 1996.
