David Taylor

Head, IP at Cambridge Mechatronics

David has 15 years of experience in intellectual property law working with a range of companies from start-ups to multinationals operating in telecommunications and engineering sectors. He is a Chartered and European Patent Attorney and practiced in all aspects of intellectual property, including strategy, licensing, and litigation. David has a degree in natural sciences and a Ph.D. in physics from Durham University, where he also conducted postdoctoral research relating to fusion reactors. David now heads CML’s intellectual property function.
