Luca Mondada has three years of professional work experience. In 2020, they were a Research Software Developer at Cambridge Quantum. In 2019, they were a Junior Project Manager at swissnex China, where they were the Project Manager of the Swiss Pavilion at CES Asia 2019 and was responsible for liaising and event coordination between Swiss Foreign Department and local authorities for Swiss Presidential State Visit to Shanghai and Beijing. In 2018, they were an Intern at UBS, where they were responsible for shaping the cooperation between UBS and the international start-up ecosystem and creating proposals for management, as well as leading discussions with European Fintech start-ups on cooperation opportunities and representing UBS at numerous start-up investor events.

Luca Mondada's educational history began in 2010, when they attended the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and completed the Euler program for gifted students in Mathematics. From 2015 to 2018, they attended ETH Zürich and obtained two simultaneous BSc degrees, one in Physics and one in Computer Science. In 2019, they completed a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford. Luca is currently pursuing a DPhil in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, focusing on Quantum.
