Eric Strennen

Software Manager at CAMECA

Eric Strennen has extensive experience in software development, spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Software Manager at CAMECA Instruments Inc. since April 2001, Eric architects and develops instrument control software for a 3D atom-probe electron microscope and manages a team of engineers in software development for control and analysis applications. Prior to this role, Eric was Lead Software Engineer at Lunar Corporation from 1996 to 2000, where coordination of project development for a biomedical x-ray imaging product in international markets was key. Earlier, from 1986 to 1996, Eric held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Nicolet Instrument Corporation, leading software project teams in the development of a digital oscillographic recorder and managing software for Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) analytical spectrometer systems. Eric's educational background includes a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Arizona State University (2010-2013) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Lakeland University (1987-1992).
