Camena takes an innovative and radical approach to wellbeing and development, providing creative solutions to the challenges facing businesses through engagement with poetry. Our team of highly experienced teaching artists employs engaging and fulfilling participatory practices to deliver these solutions.

Engaging with poetry serves as a foundational tool for brain development, enriching cognitive and emotional processing, fostering the qualities essential to wellbeing, resilience, empathy, and communication, thereby enhancing individual performance and fostering stronger, more cohesive teams and businesses. This approach enhances leadership abilities, aids in strategic planning and execution, facilitates stress management, promotes creativity and innovation, and contributes to healthy culture, engagement and staff retention.

Engagement with poetry exerts a potent and distinct influence on the brain, having been integral to education for centuries. Its removal from education in the UK and US is seen as a significant contributor to the wellbeing crisis facing companies today. By engaging with poetry, employees develop enduring intelligence structures that yield profound and lasting benefits in their interactions with colleagues and clients.

Camena's programs are designed to be affordable, accessible, and enjoyable, providing a safe space for staff to explore emotional and performance-related challenges. Programmes start at £500 per person and can be delivered both in-person and online, accommodating groups ranging from 5 to 15 individuals
