Sharon Barnes-Simmonds

Sharon Barnes-Simmonds, CPA, CGA, FCCA, MBA, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and C-Suite executive with extensive experience in the non-profit, corporate, and public sectors. Currently serving as CFO on the Executive Leadership Team at the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, Sharon has previously held senior roles at Action Against Hunger Canada, Children Believe Fund, and the Toronto International Film Festival. With an MBA from the University of Manchester and advanced leadership training from McKinsey and Harvard, Sharon is recognized as a strategic thinker and visionary leader, having been named among the Top 50 Women Leaders of Toronto in 2022. Actively involved in community service, Sharon holds board positions at CAMFED Canada and the Community Music Schools of Toronto, and is committed to creating lasting social impact.
