Mark Gallagher

Mark Gallagher has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark started their career at Donegal County Council as an IT Support and Software Developer. Mark then moved on to Northbrook Technology as a Software Developer. Mark joined Cora Systems as a Senior Software Developer and Project Manager before joining Allstate Northern Ireland as a Project Manager Scrum Master, where they stayed for over a decade. Most recently, they worked at Camlin Group, starting as a Senior Project and Program Manager/Scrum Master, followed by a promotion to IT Manager, and currently holds the position of IT Director.

Mark Gallagher earned a Higher National Diploma in Computing from the North West Institute of Further and Higher Education in 1997-1998. Mark then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computing with Enterprise Studies, which they completed at Ulster University from 1999-2001. In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications including ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Architecture & Enterprise Governance, Implementation, Principles, ITIL 4, ISO 27001 Foundation-Information Security Certification, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer-Information Security Certification, SAFe scaled agile, Certified Scrum Master, and COBIT 5 Certificates. Mark also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
