Cassandra Ippaso

Cassandra Ippaso is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in campaigns, strategy, policy, and advocacy. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Campaigns & Strategy at We The Protesters - Campaign Zero since June 2021, Ippaso has previously held various roles including Campaign & Research Manager and Summer Fellow. Additional relevant experience includes a Policy & Advocacy Fellowship at Leadership for Educational Equity, Program Associate at Little Green Gourmets, and Co-Founder of Ether Pickles & Ferments. Ippaso has also worked as a Secondary English Teacher at International High School of New Orleans as part of Teach For America and has served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley - Boalt School of Law. Early career roles include news reporting at The Daily Californian and conducting casework for The Student Advocate's Office. Ippaso holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley and a Teaching Credential in Secondary Education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
