Michael Barbara

Michael Barbara is an experienced executive with a strong background in investment and asset management within the forestry sector. Currently serving as Executive Director at Campbell Global since September 2024, Michael previously held various senior roles at New Forests from July 2005 to September 2024, including Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Business Development. Responsibilities encompassed deal origination, investment evaluation, due diligence, transaction structuring, and the management of timberland estates. Michael's early career included positions as Senior Analyst in Operations and Eco Products, providing valuable insights into plantation forest management and eco product commercialization. Michael holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and has completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management was earned at Macquarie University.
