Ryan Combs

Ryan Combs is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Nelnet, where they focus on leading cyber operations. They previously served in various leadership roles in the United States Air Force, including Director of Cyber Operations and Communications, where they managed extensive communication networks and operations for military training events. Ryan has also held positions at Raytheon as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and has contributed to the Buffalo Creek Gun Club and CampusGuard as a board member. They hold a Master's Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Midwestern State University.
