Steve Burger

Steve Burger is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in nuclear energy and systems management. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Supervisor at CAMS since January 2022, Steve has a long tenure at Exelon, where responsibilities as a Senior Reactor Operator include ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the Three Mile Island nuclear generating plant. Prior to this, experience as an Equipment Operator and Radiological Controls Technician at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation involved operating systems for Moored Training Ships and managing radiological waste processing. Steve's career began in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician, focusing on the operation and maintenance of a Naval nuclear reactor plant and training personnel. Educational background includes training at the US Naval Nuclear Power School and attendance at Annville-Cleona Jr./Sr. High School.
