Rita Gaspar

Rita Gaspar is currently serving as a Medical Scientific Liaison at Camurus since August 2025. Prior to this role, Rita was a PhD student in Public Health at Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública, Universidade Nova de Lisboa from September 2024 to September 2025, and worked as a Medical Oncology Specialist and Medical Affairs Oncology trainee at MSD Portugal from September 2021 to July 2025. Rita's academic background includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Biomaterial Science and Engineering from the University of Groningen, as well as an Honours Master's degree in Leadership. Previous experience includes internships and research projects at various institutions, including UMCG and Instituto de Medicina Molecular, where Rita gained valuable experience in cancer research and biocompatible materials for 3D bioprinting.
