Nick Barnes

Nick Barnes is a seasoned professional in data and business intelligence with extensive experience in driving data-driven decision-making and enhancing analytical capabilities. Currently serving as Data & Business Intelligence Manager at The VPS Group since March 2021, Nick has been instrumental in redesigning data architecture for a self-service insight portfolio. Previously at Openreach for over a decade, Nick held various roles including Senior Service Improvement Manager and Senior Insights & Data Strategy Manager, where responsibilities included implementing data governance strategies, generating insights for significant fibre connections, and facilitating the growth of analytical capabilities across the organization. Nick began career with an apprenticeship at BT and later worked as a Customer Service Advisor, culminating in a BA (Hons) in Leadership and Management from The Open University.
